Ways the Internet has affected our learning
In today's society, the Internet carries a huge value. To some it is our main source to go, when we are in need of getting a hold of old or new information. Making sure that you can trust the site's your taking information from is a way that has changed the way we learn. You always need to make sure that your sources that your siting from are credible. When telling if a site is credible, the information your looking for should be stated clearly or thoroughly explained in the article it was found in.

How does finding the information that you are looking for automatically mean that the information is credible? There are multiple opinion based websites and blogs that have information on them, but that doesn't mean that they are credible sources for me to cite. Also, what precautions should a person be taking when looking for a reliable source?
ReplyDeleteThere are some places that it easier to find credible resources than just googling it. Like Ebsco, but those sites do not have everything on every topic in the world, so becoming a good judge of what is a good resource or not is a good skill, at least in school.
ReplyDeleteWhen looking at a reliable website for a source you want to look for current and recent dates on the articles published, see if the information or the background of the website doesn't look professional don't trust the site.
